Some may remember when we were setting up Condor as a venue it was discussed that we should take as few cars as possible from the guardhouse to the gym. Tonight, we had in excess of 8 cars. To aid the ease of the passes being dished out and returned and to adhere to the Condor’s request of minimal civilian vehicles on camp, we will begin to take as few cars on base as possible. This will be organised better in the guardhouse next week. Thanks for your cooperation in advance.

Football of the walking variety
Looking for another good turnout this week. Usual time and place, see you all there.
We would like to wish Chairman Mowatt a speedy recovery. Just as his toe was getting better, he goes and does some pavement break dancing.
Get well soon, Alan.
Good turn out
Great turn out tonight, we had enough for four teams. Thanks to all who played.
Big thanks to Sye Webster who was injured after a wee slip on the ice and still showed up to be referee for tonight’s matches.
Some great football was played tonight. Sye (who is quite strict) didn’t have many opportunities to give his Acme Thunderer a good blow, as the instances of running are getting fewer and fewer.
In a first for the club, there were two own goals scored tonight, the players responsible shall remain anonymous.*
Dave Milne still leads the top scorer chart after banging in another 6 tonight. The player of the season award is a more closely contested affair.
*Jim McNairn and Dave Beattie
It’s cold outside
Baltic outside tonight. Not for us at Arbroath Walking football, we were all sweating playing indoors.
Not enough for three teams tonight, but thankfully we did have a few substitutes, makes a difference when you’re knocking on a bit. Continue reading
No excuses – get back on the wagon
Wednesday nights 19:00 at Condor. Come play some football. You only have to walk. None of that tricky running stuff and it’s just as fun!! Don’t be shy if you haven’t been before
