Last minute equaliser

The walking football carnival arrived at Gayfield yesterday to promote the game to the masses. Although it was a bit chilly, the sun shone and the wind remained calm.
We were up against Carnoustie again, the previous game at Gayfield had ended in scoreless draw (probably due to the postage stamp sized goals).
For this match, we were provided with seven-a-side goals, this made sure that both keepers had some work to do this time. The short game ended in a 1-1 draw, super Davie Whitton grabbing a last minute equaliser against a very good Carnoustie team. To cap a great day, Arbroath beat the visitors 3-0.
Thanks to Brian Cargill and Arbroath FC for setting it all up.Thanks also to the Carnoustie lads for a great game.

Many thanks to the Portcullis for their hospitality and great stovies last night.
Last but not least, thanks to Sye Webster, not only for leaving his double denim outfit at home, but for organising a great night out for the lads.
