Well done to all the guys from Arbroath Walking football (and to our temp members, Gary and Fiona Mew,  Amanda and Mrs Bell) who took part in this year’s Relay For Life to raise money for cancer research UK.
It was a great experience for all members taking part. Throughout the day we had great weather, it was like a summer’s day. Sadly, the weather took a turn for the worse in the early hours (6 am) and the closing ceremony was brought forward as it was deemed too hazardous to continue, we also had to show some consideration for our host’s pitch, it would have suffered some serious damage if we’d continued.

On the plus side, all the fundraising was done, many, many laps were completed and there was still a great atmosphere.

Thanks to everyone at the club and everyone else who helped out.
