AWF would like to wish everyone a very happy new year.
In particular, we’d like to wish all other walking football clubs the very best for the year ahead.
last year was a great year for walking football all over the country, new clubs and associations were popping up all over the place. There were lots of tournaments and competitions both home and abroad. Arbroath Walking Football have now competed in Both Spain and Italy.
In our own area, after a lot a hard work by various volunteers, we now have the excellent East league up and running.
We also attended the second Walking Football Scotland AGM. Looking ahead, We have everything in place for walking football in Scotland to continue growing.
