On Saturday 6th March 2021, Arbroath FC launched their new initiative, the Lichties half-time draw.
in the current climate, it’s really difficult for amateur clubs to raise funds, so this initiative couldn’t have come at a better time.
Half the money raised by ticket sales by local clubs goes back to them.

Congratulations to Arbroath FC for setting this up. And congratulations to Arbroath Walking football club member ‘Davie Wads’ on winning the very first draw and scooping £600. Davie said he planned to spend the winnings treating his wife because that’s what good husbands do.
